πŸ‘‹ The founder

Hi, I'm Philip

I'm a 19 year old from Uppsala, Sweden who grew up in the food industry. I've flipped burgers in a food truck, served candy floss at Furuvik, worked the floor at a hotel restaurant and pulled shots at Joe & The Juice.

Through all of it, one thing never stopped surprising me β€” how unbelievably good food truck food is, and how almost nobody knows about it. These trucks are run by passionate, talented people making some of the best food you'll ever eat. But they're invisible.

I built Foodect because independent food culture deserves better infrastructure. The best food shouldn't be the hardest to find.

Foodect is my attempt to fix that β€” starting in Sweden, with eyes on the rest of Europe.

Protecting food culture,
one truck at a time

The heart of real food culture lives in independent food trucks. We built Foodect to give them the visibility and connections they deserve β€” before the big corporations take over.
